New Wolf Markerlites highlight personnel and hazards in explosive atmospheres

Wolf Safety, the World’s leading manufacturer of hazardous area portable and temporary lighting, launches the Wolf Markerlite, a self-contained high visibility led visual warning indicator, to clearly highlight the position of personnel and hazards and prevent accidents in dark and reduced visibility hazardous area environments.

Ideal for use as personal identification on protective headwear, clothing and site bicycles and marking escape route, exit and equipment, the Wolf Markerlite is CE marked to the ATEX Directive and IECEx certified for safe use in potentially explosive zone 1 (IIC/T4) gas and zone 21 (IIIB/200°C) dust atmospheres as encountered in oil, gas and petrochemical, industrial, marine, defence, utilities and emergency services sectors.

Two replaceable primary coin cells power an ultra bright 'fitted for life' LED light, available in three colours including white, red or amber, with switchable flashing or static functions, giving long lasting light output durations of up to 65 hours and 25 hours respectively.  Delivering an excellent wide angle beam of 180° light, the Markerlite is highly visible, cutting through darkness, and can be seen over 0.5 miles / 0.8 kilometres away in clear conditions.

Built for longevity and total reliability, the Markerlite has robust single handed switching for operation (on/off) and function (static/flashing) selection making it easy to activate by simply applying pressure to the lens, plus has drop and impact resistant polycarbonate enclosure and lens and is IP67 dust tight and protected against the effects of immersion up to 1m under water.
